About the game
LieroLibre is a 2D shooter game where two worms compete against each other.
In 1998 a game named Liero was published. It became successful and spawned a number of fan-made clones. In 2007 the official game has merge with one of these clones, named OpenLiero, as a new version 1.34. After the release of version 1.35b, LieroLibre fork has been created that set its goal to replace the copyrighted media and create a completely free game.
