About the game
Limbs Off is a physics-based fighting game by plaimi. They strive to reproduce complex real life physics, but take certain liberties whenever they feel it will add to the entertainment of the games. Limbs Off takes place in space. Right now there is only one planet and three characters, but plaimi wants to implement several planets as well as inter-planetary travel via cannons, amongst other features.
The characters are "limbless", and consist of a head, body, two feets and hands. As of yet, the only way of "fighting" is running into each other. When the characters hit each other, their mass is decreased up to a point where their body parts are unlinked and the characters effectively become space junk.
The source code is licensed under the GNU GPL, and plaimi encourages people to contribute with code, make their own art, and make packages for Linux package managers.
