==Gameplay== The game can support up to 16 players. ==Development== ===Funding=== The teeworlds team ask for donation to fund development and maintain network services.The team then reward donors with a donor badge in the forum, if it matches one of the email address of an account in the forum. The donation link is featured prominately on their website next to the Teeworlds header.

===History=== The project started off as a puzzle game as Teepop, a clone of the Japanese game puyo puyo. It was released on August 2, 2004.
